Milestone: COMPLETE

WE DID IT. We finally got through the initial phase of the BFA Animation/Illustration program and successfully passed the Portfolio Review! The road to this point has been tough, but the road ahead is going to be 1,000 times tougher. As I venture forth closer to graduation, completing this first milestone has prompted me to deviate from my tumblr blog and start a blog with a fresh slate and document my adventures through this incredible program. This upcoming winter me and the rest of my new fellow BFA acceptees will be trudging through the next hurdle, the winter sketchbook, phase 2 of the BFA acceptance process. Then we'll finally officially be Big Fat Assholes.

But first! To kick things off, here is the portfolio that marks the first milestone in my BFA career. As soon as I got this completely together, I was immediately much more confident in my chances this semester as opposed to last. Not making it in the first time only lit a fire under me and pushed me towards a breakthrough in how I approach my work and how much care and consideration I place on every piece. I feel like I've learned more over the last semester than I have over the last 2 years combined.
